- New projects starting up which can demonstrate that they will provide an effective response to real needs
- Youth clubs receive a specific mention in Wade's Scheme and we are committed to their continued support
- Non-discrimination - Trustees ensure that fairness in funding is maintained and equal opportunities are observed
- Match funding - Trustees may authorise grants on the basis that the applicant matches the grant or finds the balance elsewhere, this is particularly pertinent to applicants seeking large sums for capital projects
- Local causes - Trustees prefer to support local charities, the objective remains to ensure that the Charity's limited resources are used effectively for local projects
- Holiday schemes continue to be supported in keeping with the general recreational nature of the charity's objects
