 Rodney Nature Reserve

This project is run by an extensive team of enthusiastic volunteers who work very hard to develop and maintain a wildlife haven and to keep it free of charge to visitors. Wade's has made grants in recent years to support the refurbishment of the Visitor Centre and also to the cost of maintaining the open space.

 Caring for Life

Caring for Life provide comprehensive care for disadvantaged adults in Leeds, many of whom are acutely vulnerable. They provide supported homes, floating support work and a range of daytime activities at Crag House Farm in Cookeridge. In 2006, Wade's supported a new equestrian project at Crag House Farm which aimed to provide people of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy hands-on experience of learning to care for and ride the horses, developing a relationship of trust that some can find hard to develop with other people.
